Senior Manager, Aftersales – NMIPL

Job Summary :

This job exists to lead a team who does Inventory planning, forecasting, procurement from Local suppliers, Imports suppliers, & RNAIPL plant. Drive the Purchase contracts, Lead for New model parts preparation, End of production & CFT projects like resourcing & localization, process improvements, Logistics costs & Inventory management, IS IT enhancements etc.

Supplier management for AS parts supplies, Multi depot stock management, Campaigns & counter measure handling. Managing DLPA Exports through RIPL,V-up projects & lots of CFT projects which will support in improving parameter i.e. Quality,Cost,Delivery,Efficiency & also supporting for new business opportunities..

Consistent Parts fill rate of 96%, reduce back order by quick resolution, ensuring ETA availability

MAJOR ACTIVITIES

Parts Availability-Maintaining 96.2% Fill Rate

• Proper planning, forecasting & scheduling of Parts
• Supplier On time delivery improvement
• Supplier Improvement activities (meet, visit, kaizen)
• Multi depot timely replenishments
• Managing Local, Imports and In-house suppliers

Aged BO reduction ( < 0.20% )

• Parts Purchase agreement follow up

• Timely delivery before SOS (Parts & Accessories)

Projects Timely Launch/Implementation

• Stocking & supporting for Campaigns, counter measure
• Contingency planning
• Supplier meet event / Supplier training programme
• End of Production process
• Support TDC (Total derivative cost) reduction
• Fleet Parts management
• Regulations (REACH,BDE)

Purchase Agreement Closure ( Critical parts < 7 days, Running parts 5 weeks )

• Part List tracking (adding/deletion)
• Issues closure for technical, forecast, MOQ, Packaging
• Follow up with RNPO
• Forecast to suppliers

Back Order management ( < 2% of average lines )

• Inventory analytics ( BO,

System Enhancements for process improvement (SAP MM) & Service Parts Planning

• Logic defining
• SOP and basic design explanation
• UAT testing
• SPP Forecasting & DRP

Month of Stock Control

• Stock Analysis and optimization
• Supplier order and delivery frequency enhancements
• Lead Time & Safety stock analysis and changes
• Cross functional meeting for liquidation support.
