Recruitment Specialist

Job Purpose
  • Responsible for recruiting duties including but not limited to interviewing, testing, screening, and generating internal and external candidates for management positions throughout the company.

Main Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Develops recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing levels and builds recruitment materials.
  • Takes a proactive approach to meet staffing requirements by attracting, sourcing and screening applicants using innovative techniques.
  • Manage of transparent and competitive recruitment and selection processes including updated job descriptions, proper job classification, vacancy announcement, screening of candidates, organization and chairing of interview panels, making recommendations on recruitment.
  • Develops and maintains network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
  • Conduct reference check for shortlisted candidates, prior to sending offer letter.
  • Prepare employment contract (EC) for all selected employees and trainees and follow-up with applicant on the receipt and acceptance of the same.
  • Review online applications, evaluate qualifications of both internal and external candidates, conduct pre-screen interviews to analyze candidate experience and fit, coordinate pre-employment tests as needed, and develop a short list of potential candidates.
  • Manage candidate interview results and selection decision with hiring manager. Provide candidates feedback on interview results as appropriate
  • Develop and maintain an international network of recruiters, contacts and candidates via proactive use of social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc)
  • Ensure that onboarding and induction is undertaken in a way that immediately engages and supports new starters.
  • Undertake in-depth review of selection methodologies, making recommendations for and implementing change.
  • Ensure that exit interview data is captured, analysed and factored appropriately into recruitment & retention strategies.
  • Review existing Job Descriptions and develop new ones when positions are created
  • Liaise with external recruitment agencies to source candidates for hard to fill roles.
  • Oversee and monitor the staff master file record to ensure that all employee have accurate records.
  • Manage recruitment expenditure effectively and in line with agreed budgets.
  • Ensure salary offers to new hires are based on salary scale for internal equity purposes.
  • Develop and submit the monthly/annual headcount reports to management
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.
