HSE Officer
Scope
Responsible for the implementation of the Company & Client HSE system, provide internal HSE trainings on HSE topics, procedures and client specifications
Duties And Responsibilities
Verify compliance with the requirements of the HSE Plan, applicable sub-contractor health and safety plan(s) and Client HSEMS requirements and local regulations
Review and understand contractual obligations regarding HSE roles and responsibilities
Manage site and interfacing with third parties in a manner consistent with our contract/subcontract agreements and the applicable standard of reasonable care
Ensure that HSE programs are effectively functioning to prevent and control hazards on the Project
Verify that all employees working in the field have the appropriate level of HSE training, medical surveillance, including required specialty training (e.g., fall protection, confined space entry, PTW…..)
Conduct HSE orientation for all ENERFLEX team members prior to entering the Project work areas and deliver field HSE training as needed
Maintain active and visible involvement using open communication with employees on safety issues on the project

Maintain and analyze HSE Data and verify that project HSE forms, permits and checklists are being used
Conduct incident investigation and ensure distribution to the management and client representative as applicable
Provide trainings on internal procedure, client specification and provide awareness on local regulations
Conduct safety inspections to verify compliance and highlight areas of improvement
Assist in analyzing the near misses, observations and incidents
Attend HSE meetings as required internally and by the client
Organize and conduct Emergency mock drills with the relevant parties
Ensure that latest HSE documents including specifications are available with the team and provide necessary awareness
Comply with all Enerflex HR, Quality, HSE, and all the Company policies, procedures, processes, work instructions and guidelines
Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor / Manager
Job Specifications
Diploma in Engineering or bachelor’s degree (science)
NEBOSH – IGC (Oil & Gas is preferred). ISO 14001 & 18001 knowledge (certificates from recognized institute are preferred)
Minimum 6 years of experience in HSE matters related at oil and gas, construction sites

Team Player, respectful, able to work under stress and customer oriented
Good English Command
