Project department manager H/F
The project Department Manager is involved in various projects at the client sites (Hillside and Mozal). The PDM is responsible for establishing and running the project department with the objective of ensuring all projects (including his/her own projects) are deliveredc safely, within the agreed scope, time, cost and quality.
This role will oversees the portefolio of organisationnal projects, providing expert knowledge and support and monitoring progress as well as reporting on various project statuses. This role will also ensure that project resources are allocated and have the correct tools and processes in the place and those resources are trained and equipped to deliver successfully.
Manage the day-to-day activities in the Project department. Manage to ensure that projects are delivered; without injuries or breach of HSE rules and regulations, on-time, as per scope/specification, to high quality standards, within budget. Manage the project team and provide performance feedback and goal-setting.
This position includes regular travel to Mozambique and will work on sites.

Practical experience in the site construction/installation field
Experience in an Aluminiu/manufacturing environment wouls be a plusProven working experience in project management and organisationnal skills
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
Strong working knowledge of microsoft office, including microsoft projects
Financial comprehension pertaining to budgets and job costing
Good understanding of principles of health, safety, environmental and quality in the workplace
Strong project or programme management and excellent organisationnal skills are fundamentals, as is the ability to liaise with people at all levels of the organisation, aswell asrelevant stakeholders.
Ability to manage a range of projects types and complex business initiatives and change programme.
Take all necessary actions to achieve contractuel commitment.
Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, cost using appropriate verification techniques.
