VP Commercial

JOB PURPOSE

To lead, develop and implement a commercial strategy that creates demand for Frontier Technology (FinTech and Blockchain Smart Contracts) services across all market sectors of the Sultanate of Oman to develop and maintain the products portfolios, drive sales and supports FronTech corporate objectives and positions it as a reputed brand whilst ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements and maximizing opportunities for growth and operational excellence.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide strategic and tactical leadership delivering the accountabilities of Commercial Division in alignment to the company strategic objectives and vision
  • Develop and manage annual budget for Commercials, providing financial reports and ensuring proper financial controls are in place
  • Develop and implement the commercial – strategy and business plans to generate demand across all markets sectors and drive sales across the Sultanate of Oman
  • Identify and implement sales strategies and plans for various market segments across Oman and globally e.g. Government, Private Sector and Online Business
  • Develop commercial KPIs and targets and track and monitor performance against targets
  • Support the development and management of relationships with clients, vendors and government entities with an aim to provide a excellent service to clients
  • Lead the development and implementation of a strategy to build and manage relationships with the clients, vendors and government entities provide seamless service to all clients across Oman and globally
  • Ensure a robust sales support process is in place to realize orders within agreed timeframes and in line with contractual agreements
  • Manage regional presence, and work closely with the relevant divisions to develop and implement a robust process to identify and address business matters issues within agreed timeframes and contractual obligations
  • Monitor and track feedback form key accounts and liaise with departments across FronTech to resolve any issues in line with contractual agreements
  • Define and develop portfolio of products and services including the launch of new features, products and services and outline a clear roadmap to support sales
  • Ensure that sales teams have excellent knowledge about the complete product portfolio, different offers from the competition and market activities
  • Lead the commercial negotiation of sales contracts and work with project and operations division to ensure service delivery in line with contractual terms
  • Work with the product engineering team to incorporate industry concepts that are relevant to target accounts
  • Work closely with relevant divisions to address collection issues as per agreed process.
  • Lead, coach and manage the performance of the team in line with good people management practices
  • Promote a culture of HSE and ensure all activities are compliant to Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental standards.
  • Monitor and support handling division risks

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters with ≥10 years of relevant experience or Degree with≥ 14 years relevant experience
  • Master’s degree in Commercials/ Business Administration or equivalent is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in leading a team
  • Information Technology / Software Development industry experience is a must. And preferably with some 4IRs related/Blockchain if any.
  • Commercial Experience: worked in the Corporate world
