Sales Associate

Description:

We are looking for a result-driven Sales Associate to be responsible for Catering sales job duties, from generating leads to closing sales.

Sales Associate duties and responsibilities include working closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about our products and recommend the right menus. You should also be able to promptly resolve customer complaints and ensure maximum client satisfaction. To be successful as a Sales Associate, you should stay up to date with our product and service.

Ultimately, the duties of a sales associate are to achieve excellent customer service, while consistently meeting the department’s sales goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
  • Greeting customers politely.
  • Build productive trust relationships with customers.
  • Assess customers’ requirements to provide the right information.
  • Focus on a consistently executed up-selling/Cross selling approach.
  • “Go the extra mile” to drive sales.
  • Follow and achieve the department’s sales goals on a monthly, or yearly basis.
  • Remain knowledgeable about our products and services.
  • Follow-up with all related departments to ensure proper execution of all events
  • Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service.
  • Suggest ideas to improve sales (e.g., new ways of marketing, new items, etc.)
  • Understand competitive market and identifies opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or relevant degree in marketing or hotel management or business administration.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in the F&B sector.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft products and other computer software.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently.
  • Good knowledge of culinary ingredients and dishes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to speak with all levels of employees, guests, and team members.
  • Great negotiation skills and creative selling abilities.
  • Good time management, organization, and prioritization abilities.
  • Keen attention to detail and efficient problem-solving skills.
